Fonderia Vigevanese carries out final quality inspections on all castings produced.

The Quality Control department, staffed by 4 technicians qualified to EN 9712 (formerly EN 473) Level 2 in UT-VT-MT-PT-XT non-destructive testing methods, is able to perform the following inspections:

• ultrasonic testing
• magnetic particle testing
• dye penetrant testing
• visual testing/coating inspection
• micrographic and microstructural examination
• chemical analysis
• hardness testing
• impact testing
• tensile strength testing
• elongation testing

Upon Customer request, the data obtained through these destructive and non-destructive tests are provided in a specific certificate in accordance with the EN 10204 standard.
